About us
Mike Murphy, renowned Physicist and industry expert with over 37 years experience.
Mike began his career in 1986 in Glasgow Canniesburn Hospital using Ruby Lasers (TO BE COMPLETED)
In 2022 Mike was joined by his daughter, Lisa, to expand Dermalase into what we have today. Being Mike’s daughter, Lisa has been around lasers and IPLs all her life taking a keen interest in the treatments and experiments. Lisa is now learning directly from Mike and has started teaching, practicing and encouraging all things physics. Lisa focuses on the brand, social media, practical training and client care.
Our Mission and Core Values
Mike has been in the industry for over 37 years. Throughout his time, he has met too many unhappy, unconfident, demotivated and some dangerous laser practitioners. He soon realised this is a direct result of poor training and explanation of the “how’s” and “why’s” of the laser and IPL process.
As a result of this, Mike has been teaching the physics fundamentals that underpin the laser/IPL industry to provide more in-depth, accurate training to practitioners.
